Chapter 8: Asgard

He started walking and they followed right behind him. They arrived at the edge of a rainbow.

"This is Bifrost, the rainbow bridge" he explained as he stepped on it.

They arrived behind Erec surrounded by several human looking beings, slumped on the floor as if dead.

"Their bodies still radiate vigor, but there is no life force in them. They're dead" Selene declared as she put her hand on the large guardian next to the bridge.

Erec nodded and continued walking, passing by the dead bodies. "These are the gods of Asgard. It would appear that their souls were taken right out of their bodies" Erec explained.

Sasha and Selene looked at each other knowingly. "I've seen this happen before, when my father attacked one of the god realms" Selene stated.

"As have I. I witnessed this when my forces attacked a realm of the ice demons. I barely escaped with my life" Sasha added.

Sasha, Selene and Jasmine merged with Erec's body as they did not want to be seen in a realm of the gods.

Erec nodded and after merging continued walking towards the nearby city that was gleaming in the sun. 

The environment was beautiful, it was like they were in heaven, except everything was dead, there was no wind, no animals, not even a single sound except those that were made by the three naked teenagers.

They walked for a while before reaching the largest building in the center of the gleaming city. Erec pushed the door open which led to a large hall.

"That is Odin, King of the Aesir Gods and this is his son Thor, mightiest of the gods of this pantheon." Erec explained.

Vines came out of Erec and it carried Thor and threw him face first onto a large table. He walked over and pulled down Thor's pants.

The dimension seemed endless. Beyond the area where the treasures were kept, the dimension went further than the eye could see. Possibly entire worlds or galaxies could fit in there.


Erec broke off three small pieces from the stone and left the main part in the pocked dimension..

They then exited the pocket dimension and he started to mold the small pieces of the Stone of Infinity.

Then he used the vines to gather up all the treasures in the treasury including all of Idunn's apples of immortality, all the books in the libraries and weapons in the armory.

He walked into the portal and used his vines to arrange all the items neatly. He then exited the portal again and looked at Thor, who was standing naked. Mjolnir was on the floor next to his clothes.

The dead puppets won't turn to 16, rather will remain the same age as when they died.

It was time to head back. The gods here are incapable of helping with the catastrophe. Perhaps Erec's use of these god's bodies and resources may yet be helpful.

Erec held both their hands, and with Thor following, he opened a portal back to the swamp.

Then they walked out and headed for their wagon. Arie has been gone for too many years and was eager to go with them to Devonstar which was on the way to Elvenhall.
